Did you notice?

when watched the videos of the second line of earthworks something interesting about the parapet? the height of the remaining parapet was relatively consistent along the line. However when we reached the woods to the left of the McCoul Lane it was noticeably thicker. There is documentation to tell us that “a line of rifle pits” was dug behind the 33rd Virginia at 2PM on the 11th. That unit was immediately left of the McCoul lane. But built more substantial than the more exposed section to their left? interesting.
